Folks in Ohio are joining in the economic revolution and call-to-action to redirect our money toward Black businesses. Money is power. African-Americans spend an estimated 2-3% of their money with each other. If we expect to see real and sustainable change, it will only come with increased support of our own businesses. In the midst of social injustice, mass incarceration, the school to prison pipeline, joblessness, and poverty, we must solidify the strength of countless community activists and organizers with economic empowerment.
