A recent Blackout participant shared his experience for #BlackoutFriday, which takes place #EachandEveryFriday. He mentioned how he’s teaching his son from a young age to support Black Owned Businesses. This brings up an important point. If we can successfully raise a generation of children that understand the importance of investing in the Black community, economic empowerment will then be part of everyday life.

Be an example for your children!
