An unarmed 14-year-old was shot by police in Trenton, New Jersey at least seven times. Now his family, friends, community and even a US congresswoman are searching for answers, as law enforcement officials refuse to release details about the case. [via RT]

Radazz Hearns and two friends were approached by officers that claimed to be responding to a report of shots fired. When the officers pulled up and quickly hopped out of the vehicle with guns drawn, Radazz turned and ran. Within 3-4 steps, he was shot 7 times. The first question in your mind might be, “Why did he run?” The answer to that is the fact that he was scared. The media seems to keep leaving out the fact that the officers pulled up in an unmarked vehicle in plain clothes! That changes the scenario completely. What would you do or expect your child to do under those circumstances?
